This firm acted as General Counsel and appeared on behalf of the client in Supreme Court of the State of New York and the Federal Courts of the State of New York on numerous litigated matters. During its representation, the State of New York sought to impose liability on the client for the back payment of sales taxes by claiming that dating services fell within the purview of the statute applying sales taxes to “informational services.” The firm represented client through audit, conciliation, the Tribunal through appeal at which point the State conceded in favor of Together.
